Homegrown garlic

It is so easy to grow your own garlic! Anyone who had garlic laying a little too long in your fridge, experiences the green sprouts coming out of the cloves, and you think you need to throw them. Don’t! Just put them in some soil in a jar and it will grow a new delicious garlic! The green straws over the soil, you can use as chives in your scrambled eggs or for example in a soup.

Det er så lett å dyrke egen hvitløk! Alle har vi hatt hvitløk som har ligget litt for lenge, og opplever de grønne spirene som kommer ut av hvitløksbåtene, og du tror du må kaste dem. Ikke gjør det! Bare legg dem i litt jord i en krukke og det vil vokse en ny deilig hvitløk! De grønne stråene som kommer opp av jorden, kan du bruke som gressløk i eggerøre eller for eksempel i en suppe.
